The Challenge To add a living and kitchen area to a house that sits on a restricted site.
The Solution The solution came about from retaining the existing kitchen as a utility, leaving all the existing cabinets intack. We added a new extension to the rear. It housed a new living space with solar shading to the south with a west facing courtyarded patio that linked with a garden room at the end of the garden.
