The Challenge To design a rural single storey dwelling house with north facing views.
The Solution The house may seem a complex shape, but is really very simple. The bungalow is formed of three similar interacting blocks. This solution is about reducing the scale of the building and keeps everything clean with simple structures to help. South facing sun and views to the north or north-east are from every place in the house. The flow between all rooms will have constant visual contact with both sides of the site. The positioning of the garage to the front create a welcome court yard entrance to the house.
